Last year, Amazon announced its Launchpad program to help startups sell innovative products on its site in the US, and expanded it to the UK a few months later.
The ecommerce giant is now building on Launchpad with a new section that features crowdfunded products from Kickstarter, curated in collaboration with the platform.
A new era of tech events has begun
We’re back in New York this November for the 4th edition of our growth-focused technology event.
There are already more than 300 items to choose from, including gadgets, books, home accessories and educational aids. You’ll be able to spot popular ones like the Pebble smartwatch, the Oculus Rift VR headset and the Bragi Dash wireless earphones.
In addition to making it easy to find successfully funded products in one place, Amazon’s new initiative also removes the risk of dealing with small firms in case your order is late. Plus, a number of them qualify for the company’s Prime program, which means that subscribers to the premium shipping service can expect those items to arrive at their doorstep in as little as a day.
You can find all these new products over at Amazon’s Kickstarter Collection starting today.
